The transition from a top notch brawler to a JRPG feels totally seamless. The gameplay have all the good parts we expect from a JRPG translated to the language of the Yakuza series but it also has some of the bad parts like the need for grinding and some unfair boss fights. The story and new characters are presented in a way that make this new journey for the franchise very well worth taking.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the perfect update for a flagging series. Its clever storytelling, bizarre substories, and engrossing gameplay makes this one of the strongest entries in the franchise. Mixing deep societal messages with references to popular culture, the game is both hilarious and thought-provoking. It is very clear to see that with Ichiban Kasuga, the series is in safe hands
Yakuza: Lika A Dragon goes a different way but follows what made the series so great. The new protagonist, the story (besides some weak points), the crazy mini games, battle animations, summons and Ichiban Kasuga offer so much fun and action. Some boring dungeons in the middle of the game and balancing issues are the only downsides you should expect. Even if you are not a fan of turn based combat or haven't touched the series yet, you should give this a shot.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon has definitely made some drastic changes to the series but without losing its original charm. The fast pace turn base system has so much added depth while still feeling like a Yakuza game. The graphics are the best the series has seen to date, players will fall for the ridiculous Ichiban who is a well-worked new hero to the series. Other than the lag between different sections of the games and slightly clunky animations it's really hard to fault this reimagining of the legendary series.
Like a Dragon isn't my favorite Yakuza, and its fresh turn-based combat eventually grows stale, but I have a lot of love for it. If it's your first game, it'll quickly initiate you into this wild, one-of-a-kind series.
Who knows if this wild experiment will bear fruit and become its own series. Yakuza: Like a Dragon has everything it needs; an excellent crop of new characters, and even a new playground to base a series in, as we hadn't been to Yokohama previously. The future of the series would depend on how turn-based combat sells in comparison to action brawler combat, I would assume. Either way, though, Like a Dragon is a delight. It's a parody-homage to every turn-based JRPG trope you've ever known, set against brilliant character writing and the traditional urban playgrounds that have built this series into something beloved. I hope the development team is rewarded for the inherent risk that they took with this undertaking.
Like a Dragon is the story of a carp that turns into a dragon, of a gang of scapegoats who decide to defy the established order and come to the head of a desperate situation. Ichiban Kasuga is an individual far from dojima's stoic and serious Dragon but has an equally kind soul and crackling personality, which makes him - along with his strange clique - the symbol of Yakuza's rebirth. A rebirth that passes through a fun and enjoyable but also improveable role-making formula. With this seventh chapter, in other words, the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has shown us the potential of what would seem to be his idea for the future of the series, which with the advent of next-gen consoles could give us great surprises.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon has made the leap into the RPG genre with flying colors. The story is kept exciting and you can't stop following Ichiban's vendetta. The abundance of side tasks can be a bit overwhelming for the player at the beginning. But once you have played the game for a few hours, you know the most important points in the city. Time passes very quickly when playing darts or karting. By no means you need to believe that these actions are a waste of time. You get personality points which finally strengthen the fighting actions. The fights bring a breath of fresh air to the row and put a smile on the players' faces. Through the different creative classes you attack the opponents with pigeons or wrestling moves instead of casting disdainful fireballs. Unfortunately, the invisible AoE range of abilities spoils the fun of the game. Also the unusually long races until a comrade reaches the enemy seem strange. A timeline showing the next actors would have been helpful too. If you like the Yakuza series and are open for new things, you definitely have to go for Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
Yakuza fans were anxious about whether the series would survive without the glue of Kiryu Kazama to hold it together. However, Ichiban Kasuga is a worthy successor to the Dragon of Dojima, and Like a Dragon is a great new start for this fantastic series that will please long-time Yakuza fans and newcomers alike.
You should look at Yakuza: Like a Dragon through the lens of it's protaginist. This game is unapologetically brash, unmistakable bold, life-affirming and insanely charismatic. The legend of Ichiban Kasuga journey, like a bright flame, tells us one familliar, but sweet and romantic idea - each and every one of us can become a true Hero, even if you have to fight the fate itself, while making your way through hundrends upon hundreds of random encounters.
Ultimately, despite all the changes that have been made, Yakuza: Like a Dragon feels very much like a Yakuza game. The combat may now be turn-based, and the scenery might be different, but this is still a game full of drama, thrilling battles, and a huge amount of side content, all smothered with an ample amount of humour. And I never thought I’d say this, but I didn’t miss Kazuma Kiryu one jot while playing it; Ichiban Kasuga is simply a more likeable fellow with more depth. So, if you like the Yakuza series, consider Yakuza: Like a Dragon a must-have.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon reminded me why I loved video games to begin with. I cannot think of a game this year that has gripped me this tightly and didn't let go. Here comes a game brimming with joy and excitement that is earnest with its drama and comedy. It's the sort of game you can gush about for hours, and I will long after this review is published. Anyone who loves RPGs, open world games, comedies, crime dramas, and games PERIOD should have a lot of fun with the newest Yakuza.
As the Yakuza franchise is still trying to become a household franchise in the West, the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio decided to flip the switch and create a turn-based RPG. The result of that experiment, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, is a resounding success. The "dynamic RPG" gameplay fits the Yakuza universe and tropes like a glove and its mechanics are surprisingly deep. And the fact that the game's new characters are lovable doesn't hurt. The turn-based gameplay will probably put off some gamers but Yakuza: Like a Dragon truly deserves a shot. The Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio made the JRPG genre proud.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has topped themselves once again with Yakuza: Like a Dragon! This new take on Yakuza brings a lot of fun, new ideas to the table while remaining its heartfelt self. Turn based combat is somehow a perfect fit for this new direction, the characters are all instantly loveable, and the story is endearingly melodramatic.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a phenomenal entry into the Yakuza franchise, with an interesting new protagonist, a compelling story, and a combat system that constantly mixes things up.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon largely succeeds at moving the series forward in a bold new direction. Kasuga and his band of unlikely heroes are incredibly interesting and make it so easy to care about their crazy antics. The new main locale is massive and plays host to so many compelling things to do. Getting wrapped up in everything Like a Dragon has to offer is worth it and you’ll easily pour 30+ hours into its captivating tale. The turn-based battle system works in parts, but its annoying character placement issues and faulty summons system keep it from being a total victory. Like a Dragon is still worth hopping into if you’re looking for an amazing parody of RPG tropes, however. It’s a Yakuza sequel that signals a bright future ahead for the beloved franchise.
No doubt about it, SEGA took some considerable risks when they decided to change their established formula so radically for Yakuza: Like A Dragon. But in the end, I think the gamble paid off. Ryū ga Gotoku Studio's latest offering may not pack the punchy, moment to moment gameplay of its predecessors. Still, it makes up for that with its more in-depth brawls, an engaging job system, and a story that focuses not just on a single protagonist, but on several compelling heroes with their own complex motivations. While beat-'em-up fanatics may find this change in direction blasphemous, I couldn't be happier. If you're a Yakuza fan who loves JRPGs, adding this underworld epic to your PS4 library is a no-brainer.
It keeps the great narrative and setting from the Yakuza series, using a new protagonist, a city that has more life than even Kamurocho and turn-based combats. It suffers from some of the classical troubles of the J-RPG, but it is a breath of fresh air and a great example of how to reinvent a franchise.
Yakuza Like a Dragon is a real and huge JRPG who knows how to maintain the essence of the saga. Fun fighting system and deep script with too many ups and downs to justify the new playable elements. I hope this new formula that works and gives new wings to the franchise will be repeated.

It was a gamble on Sega’s part to make such major changes to a tried and true formula, even more bewildering given its recent meteoric rise in Western markets. If Yakuza: Like A Dragon proves anything, it’s that fortune does indeed favour the bold.
Like a Dragon's story attempts to touch on certain social issues that are relevant in present-day Japan, such as classism, social status, sex work, and government corruption on a prefectural level. However, the writing often lacks the nuance or range to address the topics at hand, and doesn't give any of them adequate room to breathe. The second half of the game gains some measure of focus as plot threads tie together and result in genuinely surprising twists, but when Like a Dragon drops the ball, it drops it hard. Despite this, the Japanese cast's performances sell the story with evocative deliveries that breathe life into the characters. The finale is an emotional one that brought me to tears and moved me, just as most previous Yakuza games have.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon, when all of its pieces are taken together, is not only a fantastic new direction for the series, it's also one of its best titles.
Yakuza Like a Dragon is both a fresh start and a shot in the arm that caters to series veterans and newcomers like. It bears all the hallmarks of a great Yakuza game, while making a damned good case for its revamped battle system. After Yakuza 6 topped the rest of the franchise with a matured and succinct focus it feels even more exciting to see the whole thing blown wide open again and have Ryu ga Gotoku just run wild. Kudos is deserved at Sega of America for their commitment to the game's localization as well, which is incredibly considered and comprehensive. I think I've found a new favourite Yakuza game.
With a new battle system and new main character, Yakuza: Like A Dragon aims to be a new entry point to Yakuza newcomers even though it is anything but that.
So, the takeaway is this – Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a successful experiment. So successful that I think it should be the template for much of the series going forward.

Much like Kasuga’s dragonfish tattoo feels like a quirky but faithful successor to Kiryu’s dragon, Yakuza: Like a Dragon rebuilds the franchise by leaving a lot of it in place. The new protagonist doesn’t feel like he has seven games of story in him, but his eagerness to join the fray could carry the next few entries.
After the culture shock of such a total change to the Yakuza recipe, I’m extremely glad the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio team took such a big leap when Kiryu’s tale came to an end. Like A Dragon is a revitalised game full of fresh ideas and proves that the series won’t be re-treading the same ground with Ichiban in the driver’s seat. If this is the first step into the new age of Yakuza, I can’t wait to see how bonkers the next game will be.

The mean streets of Yokohama offer the opportunity for a new cast, a new suit, and a new hero. Ichiban Kasuga might not be the role model in the same way that Kiryu-chan was, but this dragon's quest might be the most fun Yakuza title to date!
Yakuza: Like a Dragon feels like everything I ever wanted in a game. Once the game stomps on the gas, it very rarely slows down. Its unique cast of characters and gameplay had me hooked and wanting more, and it almost feels like it never stops giving. Even after the story ends at the 45+ hour mark, I was ready to fight more, complete more side missions, and squeeze out every drop of gameplay that this game has to offer.
The Yakuza series continues to grow and expand in the gaming world. I love its quirky humor and deep narratives. This new entry begins a new saga and I cannot wait to see how the story of Ichi evolves over time. If it is even half as good as Kiryu’s the studio will have another series of great games on its hands. Everything about this title feels good and for those worried about having previous knowledge, don’t be concerned. Like a Dragon is a wonderful jumping in point for the series and also one of the best titles in it to date. Don’t sleep on this game, it is worth digging into.
From someone who is vulnerable, MS, Nintendo & Sony don't care about making gaming safer for us so don't say they do
TLDR; Don't applaud the companies for caring about vulnerable gamers, between profits and caring, they are most likely still going to side with profits and abuse us for money. Hi, first off, I wish to clarify that if there's a profit in it for them to care then they do care, and as people rather than companies they probably do care anyway. There's probably going to be some actual good come from their commitments but there are two major ways they and others take advantage of vulnerable gamers and people shouldn't say they care until these at least stop. They are loot boxes of course and advertising, yes advertising not microtransactions and I don't know what battle passes are exactly and hope to never look at them. Start with the easier one, loot boxes. Just because there is a random chance doesn't mean its abusive which is the same as slot machines, there's the lights, sounds, suspense, I want this particular thing, etc. that come together to help make it addicting. A complication arises in that different people are also affected by different things; suspense might be a main factor for one person but irrelevant for another for instance. For some reason governments don't seem to want to legislate against it either, the Australian government did tests with thousands of adults addicted to gambling (outside of gaming) and found that loot boxes triggered the same part of the brain/endorphins that gambling does and the UK government/courts decided that because you can't get real money from them then they aren't gambling while ignoring they have other abusive parts in them and that vulnerable adults or any child can be sold something with zero value and no chance of profit. Next is advertising, this took a long time for me to realise and I'll do my best to explain, also again different people are affected by different things. I like racing games and Forza Horizon 3 & 4 are some of my favourites but there is also plenty of advertising as you're playing the game. Loading screens, menu, map, interruptions in gameplay all come together to be constantly reminding you you can be spending money. On a good day this doesn't worry me but on a bad day when I'm depressed then it does, the more depressed you are the more vulnerable you are to advertising. At first, I had no idea it was the advertising that was making things worse, I downloaded GT Sport after not playing it for ages and looked at the store, there was like 300+ microtransactions on there so I backed out and loaded up the game, I was depressed a bit at the time and the game was helping. About a week later I realised the lack of advertising and constant annoyances Forza would give me were helping greatly. This does not mean GT Sport doesn't have advertising, just that I never noticed it and don't intent to try or go to other parts of the game to find it. Advertising is arguable the worst thing on this list, when your fine it isn't abusive even though your still affected by it but when your depressed especially heavily depressed it's a completely different story as it is abusive and dragging you down. So far loot boxes/gambling sound worse as its worse at both times and can itself make you depressed when you're not but the bad thing about advertising is that it's pretty much everywhere TV, games, internet, etc. even billboards, signs, walls, etc. while walking down the street shopping can be painful or at least hurting. It is so widely accepted that being exposed to it while trying to recover from depression is so much more likely and that makes it worse, when your being hit from all sides and die from it, you can't just look at the big sticks and say the smaller ones don't matter. For example, being raped by itself would have a low death rate, not getting the chance to recover increases it to a much higher death rate, that makes the smaller sticks worse to me. Not to mention that some advertising specifically targets us like Coke selling happiness but instead all it does is help make you fat and even more depressed. If you got this far, thanks for reading, this took a day or two as I kept coming back to it to do some more and feels hopefully good to get it off my chest and maybe help someone like I've been helped, I'm using a dummy account and email so I may or may not look at this again as I expect most people to not care and/or whine, most people benefit from advertising with free to air tv, free to play games, websites they look at, etc. and most I'm guessing just refuse to believe one can be negatively affected by advertising but think of this if you're not depressed. Do you look at an add and think I'm going to buy that, and I don't mean something you would have bought anyway they're just letting you know it can be purchased, I mean you wouldn't have purchased it but the advertising convinced you to buy it. If the answer is yes, then how are we not more affected by it then you are purchasing more things and getting into money troubles. If the answer is no, why are companies spending hundreds of millions and for really big companies a billion + on advertising if it doesn't make a difference to their sales. No matter what though they will always say advertising is OK as even when depressed, you have no interest in this or that so the advertising won't affect you no matter how depressed you are, but it doesn't change the fact that this or that also won't help you recover from depression either, you still don't have a place to turn to.
This is a script for a youtube setupapping guide that I made last month, however I speak English too poorly and don’t have much to show with the long narration so I decided to format it to a written guide instead. I have censored the forbidden terms so that’s why in some places the terminology might sound a bit weird. Hello guys, today I will try my best to make the ultimate setupapping guide. This is a very long and complicated subject, I might miss some information as it will be difficult to crank up everything in a single guide. I will try to make it as informative as possible. First of all setupapping methods change from time to time but the basics are mostly the same.
The first topic is why you should blyatpass.
As you know setupapp locked devices are not technically defective. They are simply crippled by software. The setupapp lock is server sided and not stored on the device itself, unlike the FRP of android phones. The most popular argument for defending setupapp lock is that the device cannot be used by anybody except its owner however this practically wont benefit the owner in any means. As it cant be used, it wont be able to be tracked by its imei number if it gets reported as stolen so it actually significally lowers the owners chance of getting the device back. Until last year setupapp devices were used mostly for parts, nearly everything except the motherboard in a locked device can be used. Setupapp locked devices are often sold for parts on a much lower price than unlocked ones. Now because of the blyatpassing and unlocking methods this ends up being a great deal for getting a functional apple device which is usually much more expensive than a locked one. Obviously not all locked devices are lost or stolen, just most of them. Some people end up forgetting their accounts and don’t know how to recover them. Keep in mind that apple devices are often used by elderly and other people who arent good with techology because of their simplicity. Find my iphone, ipad or ipod or FMI for short is the activation lock. After you log in with an apple account it is activated by default, so if you don’t disable it and forget your account you can get locked out of your device. You can check the FMI status of a device by looking up the IMEI or the serial number in some websites such as iunlocker and ifreesetupapp co uk. One more thing that I can say is that the lock is also not good for the environment as it basically creates electronic waste. So I think I said enough for this topic, lets move on to the second one.
The second topic is what hardware and software do you need for blyatpassing
This seems like an odd topic however it is quite important to mention it in the beginning. There is no doubt that windows is the most popular operating system, however the most important blyatpassing tools are for mac. That doesn’t mean windows is bad for blyatpassing, it will still do the job with some exceptions. The first issue is that there isn’t checkra1n for windows. To sum it up checkra1n is the jailbreaking tool for ios 12 and newer devices and it is required for every blyatpass. That can be resolved by making a bootra1n or checkn1x bootable usb that contains just checkra1n. I will recommend using a free program called balenaetcher for that. Turn off your pc, boot from the usb, jailbreak your device and then restart back to windows to complete the blyatpass. However in some instances it is good to have more than 1 checkra1n version to try out and this might be an issue, I’m refering to 0.9.7, 0.10.2 and 0.11.0, these 3 versions should be enough. The other major issue is that currently the windows version of sliver, which is one of the most important blyatpasssing tools mildly said lacks features compared to it’s mac counterpart. The current version 5 has just the passcode blyatpass, I will explain later. Of course this might change in future if somebody makes a better version of sliver for windows. On windows you will need this version of itunes as the latest one doesn't seem to work well for blyatpassing programs: Itunes64setup from 15.09.20 I should also mention that checkra1n is a tethered blyatpass, this means that on every reboot you will need to jailbreak the device again. Best case scenario is having both mac and windows, like in my case. If you have mac only then you will lack some of the blyatpassing programs which are mac only. If you have linux then you got checkra1n but nearly nothing else. There should be few blyatpassing tools for linux but I’m not familiar with them. If you consider buying an old mac for blyatpassing I recommend that you get a model that natively supports high sierra, which is the best os for blyatpassing. I had previously installed mojave with mojave patcher on my macbook mid 2010 and it caused ipwndfu not to work, which is required for blyatpassing old devices like iphone 4 to ipad 4. If you are targeting the ios 12+ devices then this wont be an issue. A hackintosh will probably do the job as well. Also make sure you have a proper cable while blyatpassing. It doesn’t need to be original but just a good quality one. Enough said here, its time for the next topic.
Which devices can be blyatpassed and how
The current blyatpass methods rely either on ramdisk payload for older devices or jailbreak for newer ones and both methods use the checkm8 bootrom exploit. The program that we use for jailbreaking compatible devices is called checkra1n. Checkra1n supports all devices with processors apple a7 to a11 on ios versions 12.0 to 14.2+ . Currently on ios 14 you can jailbreak all devices but there might be incompabilites after a big ios update, for example it took 2 months until a10 and a11 could be jailbroken on ios 14. If you are unsure what processor your desired devices uses you can just google that, check it on a website like gsmarena or similar. There arent ipods on gsmarena so I can just mention them now as the ipods that can be setupapp locked are just 3-ipod touch 5, 6 and 7th generation. 5 uses apple a5 , 6 uses apple a8 and 7 uses apple a10. All of them can be blyatpassed by using various methods, we will discuss that later. The ramdisk method supports everything from a4 to a7 devices. For this methods we use mostly sliver with some exceptions. For apple a4 also known as iphone 4 you have the sliver mac ramdisk method which is super simple, the ssh manual java method which is quite complicated or the geeksn0w method which also seems quite simple, the last 2 methods are on windows. The a5 devices require arduino uno and sliver so basically if you are on windows or you don’t feel like spending about 30 dollars on arduino you are out of luck for saving the motherboard in the device. I personally don’t like that you need arduino for this blyatpass but well that’s just how it is. There is also the storage full method but realistically it wont work for like 95% of the people and its just frustrating. For ipad 2 at752 has a blyatpass server. Here I can simply recommend you to buy a new motherboard for your a5 device from aliexpress, they are quite cheap, infact they are cheap for a6 too. For a6 we got the simple sliver method and the manual one which is also quite simple. The shipping is slow though. For a7 in my opinion an untethered blyatpass on ios 12 is a better option but the ios 10 ramdisk blyatpass also exists in sliver with more instructions there.
Next topic is what are the options for a12 and higher?
The answer is simple, nearly none. If the device is open menu with a logged in account, you can jailbreak it with something like uncover if its on ios 13.5 or older then I think you can perform fmi off also known as full unlock with the epic ok.zip, I will explain more about it later or if you feel like spending money in case it is on ios 12 or 14, a paid service. I have no experience and I have never performed such a blyatpass so this is the only time I’m gonna mention it. I have also seen one more method with wifi proxy and a trusted certificate or open menu. Currently unlock isn’t possible for passcode or hello screen, unless you have the receipt of purchase for the device. You can probably get a receipt from some sources and try to unlock It with the help of apple if it’s fmi status clean.
So lets move on to the next topic, which is about the more exotic unlock methods
I know 2 such methods. Both of them don’t work on iphones. The first one is breaking the baseband method. For this method you need an ipad 2, 3 ,4 or mini 1 with celluar. I have also heard that this works for ipad mini 2 and ipad air too if you downgrade them to ios 10 but I don’t know how to do this. So basically you open up the ipad and break the resistor which is for the baseband. By doing this you effectively turn a celluar tablet into a wifi only one and unlock it, as this works just up to ios 10. The next method is more interesting, it is the magiccfg method. It works on wifi only ipads and ipods, but I think if you break the baseband on a celluar ipad it would work as well. You basically change the SN, BMAC and WIFI address with ones that are fmi off and it's permanent unlock. To explain, the apple servers rely on these identificatiors to create an activation ticket and changing them is like changing the device. Obviously you must use ones from the same model device. For some devices like ipad 6 you can do it with a regular cable but for older ones you need a special DCSD cable which is like 10-30 dollars and its not available worldwide. Also if you are wondering from where will you get a clean SN, bmac and wifi adress, I think I have seen them for sale on aliexpress for a 2-3 dollars, however don’t quote me on this.
The next topic is about the state of the device after you get it and which blyatpass method you should use
There are 4 possible states of a device: Restored commonly called ‘’Hello screen’’, on passcode/disabled/lost mode, open menu or MDM, also known as remote management. First I should say that MEID devices can’t be blyatpassed with sim functionality if they are on hello screen. If they are on passcode you can perform the passcode blyatpass with sim functionality without issues. To check if your device is meid, while you are on hello screen press the info button at the bottom right and see if there is a meid number next to the imei. iPhone 6S and below also can’t be blyatpassed with sim functionality, even if they don’t have meid. This is the reason on most paid blyatpass websites you will see that only iphone 7-X are supported for gsm blyatpass. Another thing I should mention is that if you are dealing with an older device that supports up to ios 10 you should treat is as a hello screen one. As I already mentioned checkra1n doesn’t support versions older than 12.0 so you can’t pull out the activation files and the FMI token without a jailbreak. The hello screen state does not contain activation ticket. You cannot perform the passcode blyatpass and FMI off on it because of this obvious reason. For the newer devices you need to create an activation ticket or factory activate them, said with another words or just delete setup.app for the older ones up to ios 10. Deleting setup.app also works up to ios 12.4.4 and 13.2.3 as far as I remember, however this method is sub optimal in my opinion, as you don’t have baseband which is sim card functionality, you don’t have notifications, you don’t have account storage and you cant sync it with itunes since itunes will just pop up with the activation lock screen. Basically the sliver ramdisk blyatpass works this way, except for some a5 devices which can be factory activated with more functions but oh well that still requires an arduino and a mac. To factory activate one of the newer devices you need to jailbreak them with checkra1n first and then use one of the tools to activate them. By doing so you basically activated the device locally. Obviously, the device is still locked on the servers but it won’t lock itself unless you update or reset it. Here I’ll introduce one of the activation methods. For example most untethered blyatpasses that don’t have celluar functionality rely on having a pincode locked sim card into the device. In that scenario you just press cancel when the pin code screen comes up and that makes the device untethered. It sounds weird but I think doing this disables the baseband without causing battery drain. If you remove the sim you will be kicked back into the activation lock. However in case that happens, you can put back the sim card, restart the device and press cancel on the sim card pin prompt, that will unlock it again. This kind of blyatpasses are either free with limitations such as notifications, account storage, facetime and imessage not working or paid with everything except the sim card working. However recently I have noticed that many newer blyatpasses without sim functionality work without the need of a pin locked sim card. In their case if you insert a sim card you will trigger the activation lock. First of all I should mention that some of the activators require dependencies on both windows and mac. On windows that is mostly itunes for the correct drivers and net framework, on mac it’s a different story. You have itunes preinstalled, usually if an activator needs a dependeny there will be a script in its folder that will install it. I personally recommend oc34n and st0rm. The price of their service is currently just $7.50 making them the most affordable paid option. Oc34n is the older service and it simply works fine. It is very reliable and works mainly on windows but there is also a more complicated terminal version of the activatior for mac os that will also do the job. St0rm on the other hand is very similar to oc34n except its newer, it also has a simple well working activator for windows, unfortunately there isn’t any version of the activator for mac. Others activators support mac as far as I remember however I haven’t used any other paid service different from oc34n or st0rm so I can’t give much more feedback on this topic. I will only mention that x-activator has bad reputation, some people say it is a mac trojan. As a disclamer the paid blyatpasses of this type have everything working except sim card functionality, update and factory reset. If you end up locking your device you can unlock it infinitely as you already have paid to register your serial number into the program. However I understand that not everyone will be willing to pay for this for various reasons. Maybe you don’t have a paypal, maybe you have an older device that it isn’t worth to pay for or maybe you simply won’t use the device that much, so you are ok with having no notifications, account services, facetime and imessage. For the free untethered methods, they changed from time to time but recently there are many new free options. AT752 recently made a video showcasing f3arra1n which works fine. You can check the youtube channel of FRPFile, free tools are often being showcased there. As a third option you can see the subreddit or ask in the discord for the current free untethered blyatpasses if you don't manage find anything. As a side note some of these blyatpasses are quite shady. Most or nearly all of them are likely safe but I would still recommend running them in a virtual machine. For the tethered methods, generally there are many but you can just use sliver if none of the free untethered ones works. Not much to say about it, it will make the device usable as a last resort. You can install safeshutdown or sentinel jailbreak tweak to make the device go into hibernation while on low battery, so it won’t turn off. If it does turn off you will need to blyatpass it again, however as far as I remember your data on the device will remain. Needless to say this method lacks notifications, account services, imessage and facetime. The blyatpasses with sim functionality are all paid, unless there is a cracked one that will last for a few days. I have seen this happening just once though. St0rm is my recommendation here, it’s 15$. Not much to say about it, it works as well as the 7.5$ blyatpass but with sim functionality. For mac os I already mentioned that there are other blyatpass options. With this we covered the hello screen state. The next state is the passcode, disabled or lost mode one This state is very epic because if the is on ios 12.0 or newer there is a chance to perform full FMI OFF unlock, not just blyatpass. Even if FMI OFF fails you can still perform a perfect blyatpass that works as well as a paid one if you manage to jailbreak it. So go ahead and jailbreak the device with checkra1n, try with multiple versions from recovery mode until you succeed. If you keep getting errors try using the tool called minausb, however in my experience simply using checkra1n from recovery mode is enough. After you jailbreak it you can use the ok.zip (Dr. Moe) FMI off package to try to perform the full unlock. First run maverick.exe->full dump->copy paste token in phpdesktop-chrome.exe from the other folder Keep in mind that this free (leaked) package works only on ios 13, it doesn’t work on 12 and 14. FMI OFF on ios 12 is also possible but the services that offer it are less, I think st0rm has one if you ask them on discord. FMI off can fail if the apple id owner has changed his password. In that case you can procceed with sliver passcode blyatpass, pull the activation files, if its an ios 13 device you can erase the device directly from the mac os version of the program and then after the erase is done jailbreak it, place the activation files while following the instructions and you are good to go. The sliver passcode blyatpass is quite reliable, it works most of the time. Make sure to save your activation folder, you will be able to use it multiple times. If you can’t manage to jailbreak the device at all then it is most likely on version older than 12.0 . In that case unfortunately you lose the possibility to do FMI OFF and also you have to take a gamble-there is a windows program called 3utools, when you connect a device to it in recovery/dfu mode you will get an option for flashing a firmware, then if you look down on the flash tab you have 2-3 flash options, one of them is ‘’retain user data’’. Select this option and hope that the update will succeed, however if the device has too little storage it will return an error and then you will have to perform a clean restore, losing the activation files. I’m not sure which is the alternative of this program for mac os, so try to use windows if possible. The next state is open menu. I don’t have much to say about open menu as it is quite straight forward. You don’t have to deal with the usb restriction and you can directly see what ios version is the device running. Here if you are on version older than ios 12 you can delete all photos, apps and data from the device to free up storage before updating it with 3utools. On ios 12 and newer you can directly perform fmi off or the passcode blyatpass which still works on open menu, as it basically takes the activation files from the device regardless if it has passcode or no. Now for the last state- MDM remote management MDM can be blyatpassed with sliver-mac and similar tools. The process is easy-you just jailbreak the device, press 2 buttons then it is done. Untethered and with everything working, just don’t reset or update the device or it will come back. The sliver mdm blyatpass has been tested from ios 12 to ios 14. A windows alternative for the MDM blyatpass is the skip setup option of 3utools but it doesn’t seem to always work and it is worse than the sliver method. Now we have covered pretty much every state of the devices let’s move on to the final topic.
It is troubleshooting.
I can’t deny that it is frustrating when something doesn’t work as intended. Please be patient and think out the options you have before making rash decisions such as restoring or using a possibly incompatible blyatpass. Stacking blyatpasses on each other will most likely cause a bootloop. What I’m trying to say if you are unsure if a blyatpass still works it is better not to use it, as you will most likely have to boot into dfu or recovery mode and restore the device afterwards which can be problematic in some situations. For example, let’s say currently you have an iphone x on ios 13 and you want to try blyatpassing it with one of the free untethered methods but you are not sure if that blyatpass still works, you also notice some errors in the program. In that case search for a different blyatpass or just wait until a good one is released. Currently you can only restore iphone x to ios 14 which is not jailbreakable yet so you have just 1 chance. Actually you can jailbreak it to ios 14 as I mentioned earlier, forgot to edit this. But still, be cautious. Some blyatpasses might also not work from the first try, keep this in mind. Ususally if a blyatpass doesn’t work after 3-4 tries then there is something wrong with it, there are exceptions though, mostly with the ipwndfu blyatpasses for old devices. Some of them might take more than 5 tries. Also I understand that this is frustrating on windows as if the blyatpass fails you need to boot into the checkra1n usb then jailbreak again then boot into windows and try again. Hopefully you have a good ssd for that scenario. Another thing I should mention is that some windows blyatpasses need to be on the system drive to work properly. So make sure they are on your :C drive or wherever you have installed windows. They just need to be in the same partition, not in the windows directory. It might sound obvious but I’m saying just in case some people misunderstand my words.` Blyatpassing in general also requires some common sense. Obviously I can’t include detailed instructions for working with every popular tool as this will make the guide even longer than it already is. Most of the tools take just a few clicks and have easy to understand user interfaces. Sliver-mac is a great example for that, it has a ton of functionality in a very simple and user friendly program. Oc34n and St0rm one click tools for windows are also very simple. Please make your research before asking to be spoon fed in the subreddit or discord. If you made it thit far in the guide, you are most likely educated enough to deal with nearly everything. With this I should end this guide, I covered every topic that I could think of. I would call myself a libertarian. I am a Marxist in that I use a materialistic interpretation of history and events. I have some ideas that I think would benefit the UK. Some of which are in line with conservative ideas. I would love to know what you guys think or what you think would be a better idea. Please criticize. I hope to have a dialogue about this as much as possible. Drugs de criminalise all drugs (much like portugal) treat it as a mental health issue. A lot of people take drugs because of homelessness and poverty so by dealing with those hard drug use will go down. Legalise Cannabis, Mushrooms (and most hallucinegics), LSD, MDMA and Cocaine (https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2009/jun/13/bad-science-cocaine-study). tax them inline with the estimated costs for misuse of them. regulate them like tobacco and alcohol. Obesity and Food Ban the sale of energy drinks to children below 16. ban the sale of very sweet confectiionary and drinks to children below 16 (some mexican states have done it recently), This includes in schools. tax very fatty, sugary or nutritionly rare foods in line with what the estimated costs are for the NHS to deal with the health problems caused by them (much the same way we do with alcohol, tobacco and in my tax system other drugs). Possibly make it mandatory to fortify very cheap foods with minerals and vitamins so the impoverished can get more nutrients. although the body doesnt absorb these very well so it might be pointless. Make it illegal for a company/business to throw away food stuff and make them donate it to foodbanks/food charities. Advertising/product placement/Games/Gambling Ban all adverts to children in any way. Ban alcohol ads, vaping ads, gambling ads, payday loan ads, ads for big SUV/highly polluting vehicles. Ban product placement, ban TV shows for kids that have toys explicitly linked to them. Ban Loot box system in games. Make fixed odds betting machines have lower returns. Either tax very highly online gambling sites (spin wheel style), forced break periods or make it a state monolopy. Gambling is effectively a license to print money. why shouldn't the state take the proceeds from what is a worthless noncontributing part of the economy. All ads that have photoshopped used need to a sign saying they've been photoshopped and very thin models have to have a medical certificate that they are healthy (like france). NHS repeal the Blair laws making the NHS act more a competitive business which have proved to ineffective. Make the English NHS system more in line with the Scottish system. Tax or in some make people who do more dangerous activities pay a small amount extra for the increased likelihood of needing the services of the NHS like motorcyclists, horse riders, extreme sportspeople. Free speech repeal a lot of the Blair era censorship legislation. repeal with 2014 porn ban. prostitution legalize brothels. but make prostitution licensed to stop sex trafficking. Mandate the wearing of a condom. Possibly make it that you can only be a prostitute if you hold a british passport to stop sex trafficking from abroad. Trade Unions repeal the anti-trade union legislation. Electoral reform I think a system like Single Transferrable Vote would be better than FPTP. I think that registered political parties should somehow get some minimum funding from the state to facilitate a healthy and varied democracy. Remove the hereditary peerages from the house of lords. availability of credit I don't think payment plans for normal consumer goods should be available. I think it should be harder to get a pay day loan than it currently is. Fines I think that fines for speeding, other fine-able offenses should be means tested and shouldn't have a cap. Copyright I think that Copyright should expire for everything after 50 years. So at the this point everything from before 1969 should be in the public domain. I think any British citizen creator who leaves the UK to not pay income tax should have the copyright for their work removed in the UK when they do leave. Welfare Introduce Universal basic income in the UK. replace all the means tested and tedious bureaucracy associated with current system. I think it should start from 18 years old and increase slightly each year. Maybe start at 5,000 pounds and by your thirties move up to 10,000 pounds by the time you want to start having kids etc. I think UBI would make work always pay more than being on benefits. It would disincentive benefits fraud as well as people having children to acquire more benefits. Tax I do believe in a progressive taxation system. I think the tax free threshold should be raised. I think the brackets for taxation are good at the moment but I would add higher tax thresholds at higher rates e.g. 50% at 200,000, 60% at 500,000. I am unsure what the upper limit should be for tax rate or income. The rich will leave anyway (Jim ratcliffe most recenty) no matter what the tax rate is. If they ever wants to come into the UK they should have to pay to do so. If they have a knighthood it should be taken away. Immigration. remove all EU citizens not in critical under supplied or high paying jobs from the UK as well migratory workers from outside the EU. Syrian Civil war refugees should go back as well. basically as many people as possible should be made to go back to their country of origin without directly endangering their lives. I think the pay threshold for workers to legally migrate here should be much higher probably 40,000 pounds a year. there should be not net migration to the UK each year. children and population growth I think the UK should aim for net 0% population growth. I think couples who want to have kids should be made to screen for any hereditary recessive genetic diseases before they plan to have a child so they can know if they're kid is going to be disabled. Possibly people should have to have in the womb embryo testing as well to see if theyre child has any genetic diseases. legalise child euthanasia (like belgium and the netherlands https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Groningen_Protocol). I think people should be discouraged from having lots of children especially those without the means to provide for them. however if people do decide to have kids I think the provision for parenting should be a lot. 2+ years of paid maternity leave. free parenting lessons, support as much as possible the needs of the child and mother in the critical early bonding years. Ban all Child beauty pageants including trans ones (like france has done). I don't think childen can legally consent to hormone replacement drugs. I think the age of criminal responsibility should be raised should be raised to about 14. I think there are arguments to lower the age of consent in the UK to 15. the environment Library of things/Repair cafes in towns and cities to be able to more easily repairs good or not have to buy in the first place. Government subsidy scheme to better insulate homes across country. More extensive use of nuclear fission energy for electric generation. Large scale food waste reclamation for Compost or animal feed. Subsidy for Ground source heat pumps for poor households Subsidy for Thermal exchangers in home for poor households Make planned obselescene illegal. Make right to repair legally mandated. simplify the amount and types of plastic products to make it easier to recycle goods. Ban non recyclable plastics from being used in single use items. Make products label their expected lifetime (from average use) so consumer knows what a good long lasting product is. For large electric goods perhaps put a minimum expected lifespan for it to be sold in the UK. I think you could legislate to make products illegal from rainforests or unsustainable harvested forest. Tax loopholes make all gift-aid illegal, make art donations as tax write off illegal, donations to think tanks,charities illegal as tax write-offs, currently if you live outside the UK for more than 6 months you don't pay any income tax. I think the amount of income tax you pay should be proportionate for how long you spend in country with a bare minimum of 20% (estimate). Make shell companies illegal so large multinationals can't escape to tax havens and not pay corporations tax. If they don't ban them from trading in the UK. The criminals already have weapons. Why not decriminalise the ability for an individual to defend themselves especially women. Free female self defence classes. BBC release all BBC created media onto the Iplayer. The British Tax payer paid for it. Why shouldn't they be able to access it. Perhaps make a BBC iplayer app to host it all for foreigners to use and pay for like Netflix. International business Make corporations who sell goods in the UK prove that they don't come from slave/child labour. If they don't then they can't sell that product in the UK. VAT remove VAT for resold,recycled products, upcycled products, products that are good the planet (re-chargeable batteries, battery chargers). effectively rebrand VAT as a carbon tax. completely remove VAT on sanitary products, all energy efficiency/saving products. Voting like Australia make it mandatory to go to the polling booth. University make universities offer their humanities subjects as online only option so that people can do their degree from anywhere and not necessarily in the expensive university town. the course would be cheaper. Make foreign students pay for their healthcare when they are here. Tourism make foreigners pay to get into British Museums especially the big ones in london. I realise this may be cost prohibitive for smaller Museums. Housing change the rental legislation that tenants can legally not pay full rent if a landlord hasn't done repairs to the standard of the property when the renter moved in. No foreigner can own more than 2 homes in the UK (in thailand you can't own any property unless you're thai) Cap the number of a properties anyone can own. especially for buy to let landlords. If a house has sat vacant for too long it has to be put on the market as a competitive price. houses cannot be treated as an investment where it doesn't matter if its occupied or not. a roof over ones head is a right. Homelessness expand the access to homeless shelters. the best way to stop human and sex trafficking as well hard drug use to is stop homelessness. migratory farm workers ban migratory farm workers in the UK. there are thousands of Uni, GCSE, college and A level students who have months off school in the picking season. Why not get them to pick fruit and vegetables? same thing goes for homeless people. Get them all to pick fruit and veg. littering & dog tax small tax on having a dog to pay for dog park maintenance, dog bins, etc. small tax on single use packaging to pay for more Bins on high street, bins to be emptied more regularly to reduce littering.
