IMPORTANT NOTES

• Kickoff with Drew McIntyre returning and making his way down to the ring. Drew says it feels good to back, and thanks all the fan for their get well wishes. He says he got so lucky with his symptoms, he was able to train by day four, and wants to dedicate his match this Sunday to everyone who is fighting this disease. Speaking of other things people are sick of, Bill Goldberg. Drew says he isn't going to look at Goldberg lightly, he destroyed Hogan, the Rock, and then came back years later to start a new streak which Drew vows to end this Sunday. Drew says he's pumped up when Miz and Morrison come out. Miz says Drew vs Goldberg will be the WWE equivalent of Kong vs Godzilla, but when there is a conflict of that magnitude, there are consequences. One or both of them could end up injured, and whoever wins will be a sitting duck for Miz and Morrison to beat the holy hell out of. Then Miz will cash in his Money in the Bank and be the new WWE Champion. Goldberg makes his way down to the ring, and simply tells Drew he's next. Miz and Morrison try to egg McIntyre and Goldberg on but the two of them grab Miz and Morrison throw them into the ring. Goldberg spears Miz, and Drew Claymores Morrison, before they go face to face again and Drew holds up the title.
  
• Backstage Charlotte is interviewed about her upcoming match with Shayna Bazler, she says it's one thing to call yourself a queen it's another to be one. She says she'll be defending the tag titles, and entering the Rumble and is going to bet on herself to win the Rumble once again. She says her father hanging around with Lacey Evans is the darkest place Ric has ever been in.
  
• After Charlotte is attacked by Nia Jax, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke run down to give her some back up against Nia and Shayna. Mandy and Dana are able to distract them but Lacey comes out and attacks Charlotte.
  
• Mustafa Ali says the greatest moment in Kofi's life happened because of the worst moment in Ali's, Kofi took his spot at Elimination Chamber and stole his Wrestlemania opportunity.
  
• Xavier Woods tries to escape after beating Slapjack but is cut off by T-Bar and thrown back into the ring where he and Mace double chokeslam Woods. Mace and T-Bar hold a dazed Woods while Slapjack gets a chair for Ali, Ali is about to hit Woods but stops and sits down. He says he is the king and like any good king he will show mercy, but he wants Woods to send a message to Kofi that his Royal Rumble spot has been forfeited, and he has been replaced by Mustafa Ali.
  
• Riddle runs into R-Truth who says the Hurt Business have a birthday surprise for him in the VIP Lounge. Truth says they're gonna give him 24 karats, but mixes them up with carrots.
  
• It's time for the VIP lounge with The Hurt Business. MVP says Bobby has something important he needs to bring to their attention, but first he tells Cedric and Shelton to focus on Riddle tonight. Bobby says sometimes you have to believe in someone else's belief in you. The Hurt Business is loaded with gold and this is just the beginning. Shelton starts to speak but he's cut off by Cedric who says the Hurt Business is on a roll thanks to MVP. Bobby says they wanted to give MVP a token of their appreciation, since they all have gold, they'll give MVP some gold of his own. MVP opens a box with a necklace that looks like one of MVP's classic medallions, but with THB instead. Cedric takes credit for working with the designer but Shelton cuts him off. R-Truth comes out and MVP is irate, asking why R-Truth is out there. Truth says he is there for the surprise party but MVP says he isn't on the list. Cedric tells Truth this has nothing to do with him, but Truth says the "THB" stands for Truth Happy Birthday. Shelton says this isn't the time and Truth wants to start a dance party. Lashley says he actually has a gift but it's in the ring. Truth is about to enter when a horde of wrestlers rush down to try and win the 24/7 Championship. Lashley takes care of them but Riddle is able to sneak into the ring and hit the Final Flash on MVP.
  
• Backstage R-Truth says he wants to show he deserves an opportunity of getting in the Money in the Bank ladder match. AJ Styles and Omos come by and say he'd gladly give R-Truth a chance to prove himself because he's so benevolent. Truth that's cool that AJ is benevolent, he's a Capricorn and asks if Omos is a Taurus. He then talks about the time he and Road Dogg broke down their taurus on the way to a show.
  
• After Morrison is defeated, Miz challenges Sheamus to face both him and Morrison in a handicap match right now and Sheamus agrees.
  
• Shayna says she is going to through out everyone in the Royal Rumble just like she did to Mandy Rose last week, even her own tag partner. Nia takes offense to this and says she carries their team.
  
• Jeff Jarrett is at his home and gives us his prediction as to who will win between Goldberg and Drew McIntyre. He says we'll see a spear, a jackhammer, and 1, 2, 3 a new WWE Champion.
  
• Shanya and Nia are arguing backstage when Charly stops by to interview them. They admit they've never gotten along even when they were champions. Shayna figures with Charlotte being distracted by her father, now would be the perfect time to get a rematch for the titles.
  
• Charlotte is interviewed, she says she has been accused of living off her last name, and now a woman is literally wearing her dad's robes and taking advantage of her dad's name. Charlotte says Lacey can wear the robe but she'll never take her crown.
  
• Adam Pearce tells Ricochet if he wins against AJ Styles tonight he could earn a spot in the Royal Rumble. AJ and Omos come by and wonders who in their right mind would take advise from a coward like Adam Pearce who ran away from his match with Roman. At least Ricochet will lose with some dignity tonight. Ricochet AJ is forgetting what happened at TLC and that AJ will need more than a 7 foot giant to stop him tonight. AJ says he doesn't think he likes Adam Pearce anymore, and if he doesn't like him them Omos doesn't like him.
  
• Backstage Ric Flair is teaching Lacey how to reverse out of some holds when Charlotte walks in on them. She tells Lacey to leave. Ric says just because Charlotte is a big star doesn't mean there's no place for for him in the lockeroom. Charlotte says this is the Ric that would spend money on everyone but his family and that this isn't cute anymore, he isn't a legend, he's becoming an old man. She says she isn't the bad guy and wants him to know that. As she leave Lacey hits her with the Woman's Right and woos as she walks off with Ric.
  
• Alexa Bliss is in the middle of the ring singing the "how does your garden grow?" nursery rhyme and says she had so much fun last week. She talks to the empty swing and watches her burning Randy's face on an old TV. She then says she just wanted to have some fun with Asuka in her playground, but she mentioned him. She rewatches her victory over Asuka from last week and her mid-match transformation. She asks if we liked her trick and says he taught her that, and that she can't wait to see him again so she can thank him. Tonight she has the opportunity to win a shiny new toy, and just like last week she doesn't feel like playing nice. Alexa starts creepily singing ring around the rosey, then stares into the camera as images of The Fiend flash over her face, and finishes with Bray's voice saying let me in.
  
• After the gauntlet match Bobby Lashley attacks Riddle from behind and locks in the Hurt Lock.
  
• Edge says 2020 has taught him that you can't sleep on tomorrow, if you have a dream you gotta fight for it everyday because tomorrow is not guaranteed. Sometimes you just have to stand up and dust yourself off so you can keep walking forward. Ten years ago he went to sleep as the World Heavyweight Championship, a week later he had to forfeit that title and his career. Edge says he never can forget when he told his mom he wanted to be a wrestler and she told him to go do it. Those words are what allowed him to fight for nine years to get his dream back. At Backlash Randy Orton killed his triceps, and reminded him that everything you hold dear can be ripped away in a moment. You can't live in that space though, you gotta fight. He remembered what his mom said, and with that in mind he is entering the Royal Rumble. He says it won't be last year because the stakes are higher, he knows his window is closing and he has to use this as an opportunity to win back the title he never lost. Edge says he will fight with every fiber of his being to make this dream a reality. He says a world without dreamers and fighters is a much less magical place, and brings up a Henry Ford quote, "if you think you can, or think you can't, you're right." Edge says he can.
  
• During Alexa vs Asuka, Alexa's music starts to play and Alexa appear back in her original form, visibly afraid and confused. Asuka rushes her but Alexa sends her into the turnbuckle. The lights in the Thunderdome go out, and a creepy music box plays, causing Alexa to turn into her dark form from last week. She locks in the Mandible Claw on Asuka but Randy Orton appears behind her to hit her with an RKO before Asuka can pass-out.

Ok so the reason for this DD is that since my DD at 12.5c around 2 months ago (current SP is 18c, high of 22c as recent as 13th Jan 2021, low of 16.5c 29th Jan 2021, current market cap $64M) the following events have unfolded.
• Mark bought another $1.12M worth of shares at 14c.
• Petra Capital bought 2.4M shares at 17c on 25th or 26th November 2020 (forgot which)
• Morgan Stanley recently accumulated $245k worth or shares at 19c. I say accumulated instead of bought because I'm speculating they didn't want the price to run and just scooped up whatever retailers were selling, which hasn't been much as volume has been quite low lately.
• Av1 scores big institutional supporter in Wilsons https://www.afr.com/technology/adveritas-scores-big-institutional-supporter-20201202-p56jt3
• TrafficGuard was recognised as the Most Effective Anti-Fraud Solution at the 11th Effective Mobile Marketing Awards, which was attended virtually by more than 150 representatives from brands, agencies and mobile marketing firms.
• I found out (but didnt include in first dd so am mentioning it here) that Mark spent circa $100k on external consultants to audit AV1 and make sure it had the goods.
• Announcement came out 4th Feb about their contract with Deezer. Deezer is bigger than Spotify in Europe. And deezer have an exclusive agreement with fitbit. And fitbit was purchase by Google recently.
• Also, this bit of news came out recently https://www.skynews.com.au/details/_6227480537001 basically saying a "fresh legal battle is brewing against Google over claims the tech giant is turning a blind eye to 'click fraud'. 'Click fraud' occurs when a bot imitates a legitimate user and clicks on an ad. This drives up the cost of advertising as it is based on a pay-per-click system. Lawfirm Matrix Legal says it has been approached by a number of small businesses citing growing concerns over the practice." Not much of a leap to see how AV1 will be involved since they have partnered with Google already. All we need is news and details of the partnership for rockets but they're tightlipped about this... for now.

Recently applovin acquired Berlin's adjust platform.

These are the guys that usually determine where the download came from and then provide analytics.
Fraudsters now send synthetic signals and make the MMP believe it was them that drove the download. This is called misatribution. These MMB Companies are valued in the billions (as seen in the Bloomberg article
Adjust is purely sitting in mobile. Rumour has it TrafficGuard have beaten them many times when clients are comparing the two.
Does this make Av1 an aqisition target aswell considering as they can be the perfect bolt on for any of the following : IAS
Moat
Appsflyer
Double verify
Adjust
Major game publishers.
It would be silly to discount the fact that if billion dollar acquisitions are taking place for companies that have less than half the capability that Av1 is not in the cross hairs aswell (this is purely speculation but it just makes sense to me).
The huge issue facing the advertising industry atm and why “TrafficGuard multi point (pre bid, impression, click, download/event) system is so important is because they look at every single interaction of the consumer.
MMPs only look once the install has occurred. So usually they use a last click attribution system which fraudsters cram with click spamming, click hijacking, click injection)
With TrafficGuard as a pre filter to the MMP if is able to determine what click to send on to the MMP so it can do it’s job better
Ad fraud is a $42b problem and growing to $100b by 2023 (juniper research)
Fraud exists across ALL digital marketing channels.

So there you have it. My personal price prediction using tea leaves is 40c to 50c within 4 to 6 months when the quarter is due on their next quarterly update, as per their annual presentation they are expecting this quarter to be when their land and expand contracts with in their own words "some of the biggest companies in the world are under trail" and believe a large number of them will convert to paying customers.

Hello World!. Some of you may remember that famous greeting, some won't. But I bet you that Peter Thiel does. In fact I guarantee you that Pete does? And Peter has probably spent the majority of his life based on that simple line of computer code from back in the day.

A "Hello, World!" program generally is a computer program that outputs or displays the message "Hello, World!". Such a program is very simple in most programming languages, and is often used to illustrate the basic syntax of a programming language. It is often the first program written by people learning to code. Now Peter must have came across the Hello World! sanity test at some point. Why? Because let's face it, you don't develop one of the largest known surveillance systems in the world without having come across Hello World! at some point. And you definitely don't call your company Palantir

But. Let's look at a 2017 article about a vaccine for herpes being developed offshore and backed by Thiel

The article noted that "Thiel has been a vocal critic of the FDA, claiming in an interview that its approval process was so unwieldy 'you would not be able to invent the polio vaccine today.'" Oooooooh. And now it's 2020+1 and we have FDA emergency approved vaccines for this out of the BLUE pandemic that nobody saw coming. Except Bill Gates.
Does this mean surveillance + data = predicting outcomes? Maybe? Let's look at another paragraph from the article on Peter Thiel from 2009.
He started his speech with letting the crowd choose between a number of catastrophe scenarios: from bio-terrorism, to nuclear war, global warming, and a couple more like that. His thesis was that the biggest disaster that could happen would be that the Singularity does not happen quickly.
Scenarios. They seem to be more than a passing fad, don't they? Every single paper I read on Economics or Security seems to talk about scenarios. And those scenarios are always in four quadrants. From best to worst outcomes. So let's look at future scenarios from our perspectives.

First of all, not only is Thiel a Steering Member of the Bilderberg Group, but, in 2007, he was honored as a Young Global leader by the World Economic Forum as one of the 250 most distinguished leaders age 40 and under.

Guess who else was a Steering Member of the Bilderberg Group? Klaus Great Reset Schwab. The founder of the WEF that honored Peter Theil as a distinguished leader. Cool, right! That's like the Mickey Mouse Club for wanna be Infinity Gauntlet wearers under 40.
So. Here's another not so fun fun fact; The Club Of Rome was at the first World Economic Forum gathering. Speak your mind Klaus; Our first meeting in 1971 in Davos was, for example, the platform to present to the world the famous report "Limits to Growth" of the Club of Rome. As reported by the Australian broadcaster ABC, the model's calculations took into account trends in pollution levels, population growth, the amount of natural resources and the overall quality of life on Earth. The model's predictions for the worsening quality of life and the dwindling natural resources have so far been unnervingly on target.

World One was a computer simulation by MIT commissioned by the Club of Rome. You know MIT, that has the lab that was being sponsored by Jeffrey Epstein. Who also wanted to use his sperm to repopulate the planet after the Apocalypse. Not. Creepy. At. All. Ok. Let's get back to the main point.
What else did the computer simulation have to say about our future?

In fact, 2020 is the first milestone envisioned by World One. That's when the quality of life is supposed to drop dramatically. The broadcaster presented this scenario that will lead to the demise of large numbers of people:

"At around 2020, the condition of the planet becomes highly critical. If we do nothing about it, the quality of life goes down to zero. Pollution becomes so seriously it will start to kill people, which in turn will cause the population to diminish, lower than it was in the 1900. At this stage, around 2040 to 2050, civilised life as we know it on this planet will cease to exist."

And all this from a computer simulation. And just as promised 2020 came and the virus hit the fan to kick it off. Pollution becomes critical and civilisation ceases to exist by 2040. Unless of course we can hit the Agenda 2030 target, right?
Ok. So remember, Klaus was at the Earth Summit. Guess who else was at the earth summit in 1992? Why none other than George NEW WORLD ORDER Bush Sr. So bear that in mind when reading the next section from the article:

He is a member of the Bilderberg Group along with former steering committee member Klaus Schwab, who started the World Economic Forum, and one of it's first presenters was the Club of Rome who forecasted civilization starting to crumble around 2020. Based on a computer simulation. Then we have a pandemic in 2020. And everyone is in Lockdown. And they've already started to link the Lockdown with helping the environment. And we also have Lockstep by the Rockefeller's, who also just happened to get out of oil in 2016 (so they say), because, environment. Yet Bill Gates called the pandemic and made all the right stock investments. And then warned, maybe we'll listen next time. Right. And the Pentagon just happened to commission those studies into riots, how they start, and how to subdue them.
Yep. We're forked.
But what about the simulations?
Haven't all of us been saying it? Over and over again? Nothing has felt right for a while. Has it? A few of us have noticed, most of society hasn't. Why? How? The information is right there! All of it. Maybe not the details, but the overall picture is there. Ok. And I'll have to finish these posts in a series, because there's way too much too much more for one post. But.
A while back I wrote about the Sentinel World Simulation. Flatten the Curve There was another article, but now i can't find it (thanks Google, time to Duck Duck Go). But in the article the journalist stated the goal was to have everyone alive in the simulation, and based on DATA it would attempt to predict events. And now Palantir seems a lot worse than it did. Because now every time you click ok and accept cookies, your possibly giving an AI simulation the information it needs to steer you in the direction it wants, using the device that feeds it all the data and never leaves our hands. Suddenly the battle with Huawei makes more sense, the 5G rush, Starlink, all the rush to implement CCTV cameras everywhere (even in my small area, money was just suddenly GIVEN by upper government to put in cameras).
So if we just entered the 2020 to 2030 decade lcokdown based on a simulation by a group called the Club of Rome, are there any other signs?
First, i have a hard time believing that Trump was supposed to be a part of a manipulation campaign by the Psy Group that was called Project Rome, and that it was all a coincidence.
Second is this 1995 AI progress report by ARPA and Rome Laboratory.

They aren't building Skynet. They're building the New Normal Rome. And they want the Sentinel to guard the Empire and keep it safe by simulating scenarios to spot trouble before it starts. That's why we're getting the constant barrage of scenarios. They're letting us know, hard way or easy way, but it's always going to be our way. That's why everything has felt off. The scenarios are keeping them a couple locksteps ahead until the Singularity is ready to take over (they hope). And then the AI gives the orders. If it isn't already. Because there is no way human intelligence came up with this New Normal. No. Way. At. All.

The impressive tech news that time forgot - movies, videos, and TV shows have been being retroactively edited since 2011

In a way, this seems to behave like an Effect because virtually nobody seems to remember that this happened...
When I say "retroactively" I don't mean that they "have always been that way" now, I mean that an episode of a popular TV program or other older media is being edited with different backgrounds, billboards, soft drinks, and even Sporting events on the television in a bar scene from a rerun episode of an old favorite sitcom.
So it’s not hard to imagine this ability also being able to do something like alter the Back to the Future van if you see this video at around the the 50 second mark...and keep in mind that this has been being done for at least nine years for advertising.
In 2014 it was big News that old music videos, TV shows, and rebroadcasts were being edited with new product placement and the tech was featured in Rolling Stone magazine, TV News, Late Night shows, and continued to have many articles following the progress of the technology that was being used since at least 2011.
It was and still is a pretty big deal - but honestly, how many people remembered this without me bringing it up?
It doesn't take a lot of imagination to envision how technology like this could be abused and one of the linked articles even describes how AI algorithms can be used to edit digital content online.
It occurs to me that this seemingly benign altering of background imagery may actually have an effect on the psyche that one would hope is unintentional in that what we remember subconsciously may trigger a form of cognitive dissonance when the imagery doesn't match up with the expected scene stored in memory - i.e. the mind notices something is off about it.
I say "hope is unintentional" because during the course of my research in to memory implantation I read several articles that explained that the best tools to use for altering memories upon recall were sleep deprivation and cognitive dissonance because the mind is more open to the power of suggestion in these states.
The suspicious side of me can easily see this being done intentionally to make the subliminal messaging "stick"...but of course corporations would always act ethically right?
I'm not saying Mirriad is a bad company or anything , they're still at it, and other companies have joined the fray as well now but who else is using similar technology?
...and why is nobody talking about it?

The Sinbad Genie Movie - complete analysis

This is far and away the biggest ME for me personally, there is nothing else like it that I have learned of so far - in that, it is not a simple misspelling, physical trait in a logo design, misquoted line of dialogue, or anything else that can be rationally explained...It has been erased from existence!
Even the people involved like Sinbad himself claim there is no such thing yet everyone I talk to remembers it in some fashion (if they're old enough to hit the demographic).
So, I was taught very well how to debate things and the primary lesson in debate tactics is being able to take any side of the issue and still win (this shouldn't be about winning - but that's how debate teams work).
The first thing I will tell you is that this is a very real thing, but I am going to start by deliberately trying to dismantle my own argument...here it goes:

• Sinbad himself states that he never was involved in a movie where he played a genie
• The covemovie poster of the 1995 movie "Houseguest" has his head coming out of a mailbox on the left hand side which to some, might subconsciously be remembered as a genie coming out of a bottle
• Sinbad always dressed with incredibly bad fashion sense that kind of portrayed him as "genie like" or the ever adventurous "Sinbad the Sailor" intentionally
• There was another movie called "Kazaam!" staring Shaquille O' Neil that came out in 1995 where Shaq played a genie that helped out a lonely boy
• The movie was never widely released, so maybe people are confusing it with a comedy sketch he performed instead of actually seeing a movie - they just heard other people talking about it and assumed it was a real movie without ever actually seeing it themselves.

I think that pretty much covers that side of the debate - now my turn:
-I managed a Video Store back in the "heyday" of the video rental business and was responsible, with my uncle (he was the owner - I owned/managed and dealt primarily with the videogame side) for ordering the upcoming "New Release Titles for rental as they became available

• I took it upon myself to order two copies of the Sinbad genie movie without consulting with him first because they were such a great deal at half the price of a normal "New Release" back in 1994
• In fact, I ordered the second one in a bundle with another movie which I think may have been "Invisible Mom" with Dee Wallace Stone and written by W.C, Martell, but am not sure this was the title - but the logo of the Production Studio was similar
• The cover had the word "Sinbad" in font bigger than the Title and had Sinbad facing left with a kind of raised eyebrow and his arms crossed facing in side profile to the left
• The movie was actually a children's movie and not an adult audience oriented Comedy, which led to a lot of returns to the store with people saying "there is something wrong with this tape" - which to my chagrin, led me to having to watch the movie to find the supposed damaged portion of the film multiple times (honestly, I always thought these people just wanted a free rental)
• I can't remember the Title - but it seems like it was one word
• The movie only had one funny scene in it (at least to me) and it went like this:

The lamp is rubbed for the first time by two kids - an early teen boy, and his little sister who looks to be around 5 years old or so in their living room by the fireplace while their single dad is out of the house running an errand - the boy rubs the lamp and "Sinbad" appears with full genie attire...turban, ridiculous spiral upturned shoes, ear rings, silk pants and shirt, and I believe a green/blue vest but can't say for sure.
Sinbad stretches his arms out wide in the smoke filled room and says something like "I am the genie of the lamp" and the kids freak out! The little girl screams out "Aaaaagh! It's a kidnapper!" - or something like that as they run away

• After Sinbad calms them down, he explains that for releasing him from the lamp they will be granted three wishes and the boy is skeptical and wishes for something stupid that flew...either a flying skateboard or magic carpet - but I'm leaning more towards the carpet
• The wish is granted and the kids are amazed! and agree amongst themselves to use the other wishes on something special and important - the little girl asks for her mother back and Sinbad shows his tender, emotional side by saying "I'm afraid I can't do that" (not sure if this was because the mom had died, or the parents were separated and he couldn't make people love each other - this is 22 years ago after all)
• So after agreeing to save the last two wishes, and save one to bring a wife (or their old mom) to help out their lonely, depressed dad - the girl breaks her favorite doll and wastes a wish having the genie fix it - shortly after, the boy comes up with an idea for the second wish and the girl has to tell him that she already used it...
• So, with one wish left, the climax of the movie takes place at a pool party involving the Dad, his Boss, and a bunch of clients
• During this scene a film technique is used similar to that used in "The gods must be crazy" where the speed is intentionally sped up to make things look more "cartoon like and funny" - but it ended up just looking stupid and lame. And this is where the wished for "flying thing (I think carpet)" appears and knocks a bunch of people into the pool - which includes the mean Boss
• they have some kind of happy ending, but honestly - I just was looking for the reported "problem with the tape"...it wasn't a good movie at all and except for that scene where the genie appears, wasn't funny at all
• When my uncle sold the store years later, he specifically pointed at those two tapes I ordered and said " I hate that @#$*ing movie - it never even paid for itself after all these years!

So there you have the gist of it, if you can tell me another movie that has two kids and a genie that looks like Sinbad or where one of the wishes is fixing the doll, I'd love to hear about it.
Please, please, PLEASE! don't even bring the Shaq movie in to this conversation - I can't emphasize enough that it has absolutely nothing to do with this movie...

Have you noticed the conspicuous lack of newly reported Mandela Effects lately?
I'm not suggesting that there is not a constant infusion of new people learning of the Effect or experiencing it for themselves for the first time but rather that the reporting of new Effects that are recognized and shared by a large group of people has fallen dramatically in recent weeks.
What if I told you there might be a reason for that?
First, a little bit of context.
The last two reported Effects that seemed to affect a large number of people and seemed to be new at the time to many of them from my perspective were "Shaggy's missing Adam's Apple" and "Kurt Cobain's missing feathefluffy jacket" both reported about two months ago.
Disclaimer: I am an acting moderator here on this subreddit and the opinions I am putting forward here in this theory are my own as a user and in no way reflect the opinions and positions of the moderation team.
Now, the easy skeptical explanation would be that there are only so many things that can be easily confused or misremembered and that after several years of people reporting them, they have pretty much all been discovered, reported, theorized about, and elaborated on.
Those who know anything about my posting history are surely already aware that this is NOT the path I'm going to take with this.
I've been working on kind of a grand unification theory (like a lot of people) for an explanation for the Mandela Effect and this is just one facet of it and by no means a conclusion.
We are the unwitting participants in a long term study about the validity and usefulness of Memetic Engineering
Ask yourself; when was the first time you heard the word meme?
It's used all the time nowadays, but really... when did it become so commonplace?
The word was originally coined by author and famous Atheist Richard Dawkins in his 1976 book The Selfish Gene and spawned the study of Memetics.
Basically, the idea is that a meme acts like a gene and is passed on and propagated by like minded individuals and contributes to forming an inherent trait that can be passed on if it proves to be a successful adaptation.
Personally, I don't recall hearing the word much until the advent of Social Media and not really taking off till somewhere around 2010 or so - but that's just me.
There was actually quite a bit of excitement about this idea in scientific circles even after Mr. Dawkins somewhat distanced himself from the notion in later works.
This really has a lot to do with the notion of Social Engineering and the kinds of studies carried on by organizations like the Tavistock Institute in my opinion (a rabbit hole in itself).
There is an excellent article from 1996 in Wired Magazine that explains some of the ideas about what can be accomplished with Memetic Engineering - here is a brief excerpt:

The objectives of this research, breathtaking in their implications, were described by the investigators in Growing Artificial Societies: Social Science from the Bottom Up, a project monograph: The broad aim of this research is to begin the development of a more unified social science, one that embeds evolutionary processes in a computational environment that simulates demographics, the transmission of culture, conflict, economics, disease, the emergence of groups, and co-adaptation with the environment, all from the bottom up. Research initiatives like the 2050 Project hold out the prospect of such a new kind of social science, as well as the possibility of a new science of memetic engineering. While predictions about the pace of scientific innovation are notoriously risky, my guess is that by the beginning of the 21st century the embryonic field of computer-based memetic studies either will reveal itself as an intellectual dry hole or will prove to be a technology of extraordinary power. It is the same message implicit in the new science of evolutionary psychology, articulated by Robert Wright in The Moral Animal: Understanding the often unconscious nature of genetic control is the first step toward understanding that we're all puppets, and our best hope for even partial liberation is to try to decipher the logic of the puppeteer.

What I am proposing is that this test has gone live and we may be unwitting participants in it.
This is actually more probable than it may at first sound when you consider the sheer volume of "Terms and Conditions" that we all agree to every time we download a new App, update the operating systems of our electronic devices, join a Social Media platform, or partake in the Beta testing of software or a "free" game.
Facebook caught a lot of flak for treating users as human guinea pigs a few years back by trying to alter their moods with targeted news feeds and articles to track how their posting habits changed and affected others in their social media circle.
The truth is that this still goes on all the time and things like Psychographics are used by advertisers and political activists to sway public opinion and manipulate the masses.
What I'm suggesting here though is a little bit different and was inspired by two events that are something of iconic moments in the history of Mandela Effect reporting:

• The Apollo 13 Flip-Flop
• Fiona Broom reporting that she had been approached by a group who told her to stop promoting/reporting the Mandela Effect phenomenon in around April of 2016

I am not really a follower or fan of Fiona Broom and really wish she could have come up with a better name than "Mandela Effect" but the fact that she was supposedly approached by people claiming that they were doing important research and asked her to lay off commenting about it is something that if true, is really interesting and ties in to the Apollo 13 flip-flop in a way that makes the whole thing make a little bit more rational sense.
For those who don't know, the Apollo 13 flip-flop is where experiencers witness a clip from the movie where the line is said "had" instead of "have" and it then seems to magically change back to the iconic "Houston we have a problem".
What's the big deal? many may ask...
The big deal is that this has been witnessed by many people, myself included, and was extensively researched using all accessible media online at the time as well as supposedly on peoples' personal media/DVD's at home over the span of days to weeks.
Even more strange, people continue to have their own experiences with this at completely different times.
I had my experience somewhere around August of 2016 and can absolutely attest to the fact that all available media online said the famous quote as "had" and that the camera angle in some of the clips was slightly different - I cannot vouch for the separate testimonies that claimed the movies users had at home changed since I obviously couldn't witness it for myself...but for the span of somewhere around a week or so every clip that I brought up online to view had the alternate dialogue and when it changed back, they all did.
Occams Razor is overused in this forum sometimes but seems appropriate here:
If something supernatural is not the explanation, and the witnesses are of sound mind, really the only rational explanation is that the clips were deliberately changed and targeted to a specific group as part of some kind of test or research project.
...and if that's true, a likely reason behind it would be as part of the testing of Memetic Engineering techniques.
Are we just being used as human Guinea pigs in a long term test that is nearing completion?
