New rules for the World Series of Poker 2014

Rules are not supposed to be change during the game and that's why the World Series of Poker representatives decided to make the new ones public, before the tournament gets in full throttle. One of the most important notifications that prospective players should pay attention to, is that no verbal abuse will be allowed at this edition. This is virtually a common sense regulation that has been enforced for many years, but this time, WSOP organizers say that no lenience will be shown to culprits. To further clarify any doubts, the authorities have made it crystal clear that having the passport on them is not enough and another document is required. The problem is that virtually nobody carries an electricity or other type of bill on them all the time, and this is how the address is supposed to be proven in the first place. Not surprisingly, many of those who have serious plans about the upcoming World Series of Poker edition are annoyed by these new changes. It looks like they aggravate an otherwise straightforward process, but the officials say that the new regulations serve a reasonable purpose. Another thing that poker players should know is that they need to present the same identification papers if they plan on competing over the Internet, since online poker is prohibited in the United States. The announcement made by the World Series of Poker executive director received a terrible response on social networks, but there is only that much that players can do about it. Apparently, it is still possible to play in the WSOP without having or these new papers on you, but the process of verifying your address and identity can take a lot.

Daniel Colman wins his first WPT Alpha 8 event

The World Poker Tour is a prestigious series that rivals the biggest tournaments in the world and routinely attracts poker professionals. Charity Series of Poker starts on Sunday

Money makes the world go round and poker professionals can surely relate to this saying, because profit is what channels their energy and keeps them motivated. Those who are even remotely passionate about this game will feel at home in Las Vegas for one more week, as the World Series of Poker is in full swing.
